OKC Thunder icon Russell Westbrook is retiring after 18 NBA seasons. The triple-double king leaves behind a Hall of Fame legacy.

OKC Thunder legend Russell Westbrook announced his retirement from basketball Aug. 12 via a three-minute video narrated by Oscar-winning actor Michael B. Jordan.

Westbrook had been floating around NBA free agency, but it turns out that two teams had offered him a spot, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania and Anthony Slater.

Two former NBA players publicly declared eligibility for the next WNBA Draft, an apparent effort to force the WNBA's hand.

Former Milwaukee Bucks big man Larry Sanders has joined Royce White and Enes Freedom Kanter in "challenging" the WNBA's definition of gender.

Enes Kanter recently declared himself for the WNBA Draft, while Royce White did the same before later saying that he would 'hope' Donald Trump would 'be supportive' of his decision.

The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Bucs still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next nine months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft in a class many are saying could be generational.

The NFL draft process may be an inexact science, but the excitement for the 2027 class should not be tempered.

"Fourth round? $885,000 base salary? $1.19 millon cap hit? For the guy who's been arguably the Broncos' best runner in camp since they put pads on? Bargain of the draft," Keeler wrote.
